I don't get why you have K Michelle - Either Way & Rachel Platten - Broken Glass listed, cause those are the lead singles or something? Think both came out a few weeks ago and they both had new [promo] singles out this week?

Ahh awesome thank you, you can add them to my post you know I’m not totally OCD control freak hahah hope we get some really good K Michelle collabos this time last album was pretty star studded wish we got those other Sevyn tracks. Danja was decent but I wish we got more of his Britney era electro stuff (even that chilled electro on usher what happened to u was even fine) rather than his guitar sound (it’s okay sometimes like on Catch My Breath)

I can’t believe how shit the Sam Smith tracks (I can cos I hate him but with those collabos I thought we were guaranteed something edgy at least) thank god the remixes are big names/decent. And that Rachel platten Stargate credit is such a waste too Sad

Well I figured it'd be easier for you to see

Did Sevyn do tracks with lots of different producers etc?

I sort of like all of Danja's styles but honestly he has tons of songs that do nothing for me. He's had plenty of decent [rocky] guitar songs IMO [like P!nk - Sober, Duran Duran - Box Full O' Honey & Falling Down, Brandy - Stand Back if that's him]. I suppose in a way my fav tracks of his are Danity Kane - Striptease, the Christina Milian / Clutch tracks, Nikki Flores, Keri - Toy Soldier...I don't know if those literally are my favorites all in all but I think those are a great mix between Urban / Pop [& Electric]. They all have a lot of melody but heavy beats which obviously is what I'm about. Then there's the rare sort of low fi slightly trip hoppy R&B like Dirty Money - Hate You Now & Brandy - Can You Hear Me Now...I should do a Danja discog update but I think I'm probably missing tons like those Cali Stylz & Wyld Money tracks, Kevin Cossom and stuff like that. I have tons but I'm probably missing quite a few too.

Hm the Sam Smith tracks are more or less what I expected TBH...they're a BIT more interesting than most of his previous stuff to me but not very much, just a bit more beat and catchiness. Wasn't sure of Tim cause he's had some crappy ass pop tracks out with that Angel Lopez dude recently and they have tons registered too :/ I like them well enough, Too Good At Goodbyes is alright, I'm sure it'll do well. Would like to hear the demo to see how much was changed. I scrolled through a recent interview and it mentioned like half the album but only mentioned StarGate & Tim on those 2 tracks so I fear we won't get a lot of tracks like that. I know StarGate went to London to do TGAG though so maybe there's another track or 2. I don't see why they don't do songs together with Naughty Boy on their shared artists. I'm hoping for some more Two Inch Punch of course, I love him to death.

Yeah the Rachel Platten track is pretty dull but I'm loving all these StarGate tracks this year, they haven't been this prolific [release-wise] in a long time so I'll take any track. It's a re-write anyway, it was registered as just Rachel Platten / Nate Cyphert / Mister Rogers initially, updated with StarGate creds later on so even though they changed enough to get writing credit it's essentially a remix. Most of her album hasn't been registered yet but she seems to be working with big names now, there's 2 Sean Douglas / Jason Evigan tracks on there.

There's one more registered with Jesse 'Corporal' Wilson and Priscilla Renea writing with Sevyn and K Michelle [love big name females together] but she's also meant to have written stuff for the previous album and she's know her since her debut so I'm hoping its not just these two out there. I love Sevyn with R&B chicks she brings something really professional and tight to their albums [along with her 90s vibe I love]

I understand why he has to do those tracks, same with Adele but can they not just surprise us with these collabos on the album and have something really different for them, rather than making StarGate and TImbaland produce something that's not even close to their trademark sounds. I hate when an artist makes a producer change their sound and not vice versa, its totally pointless.

thankfully I don't totally hate Sam as I know he can do some mega songwriting on more intersting tracks like on the Disclosure and Naughty Boy features and his Mary songs... he could have even done like a Static style track with Timbaland for the end of the album or whatever.. I've not really heard enough of Two Inch Punch but I'm loving all the British talent coming out finally and hitting america too which they never used to do.. [he is british right haha]

Yeah looks like she just got them to tighten it up or whatever which is a total insult to them [although I would have liked it if they called it Stargate radio edit like the old days and like Sofia Carsson did even though the SG version was clearly the original] hpefully an actual collabo on the album. She's boring AF too though like Sam so can't say I'm bothered its just the fact its a wasted collabo when we could have had a random Rihanna single or something instead..

I LOVE Jason Evigan/Sean Douglas/Simon Wilcox they're really doing it right now and their sound is so rooted in R&B/pop arrangements yet they produce/write all sorts of different but equally catchy stuff. Liar by Britney is when I realised Jason Evigan is something special, that track is so tight its unbelievable. [and Livvi chilling on backgrounds

Yeah she always has at least some decent collabos too and she tends to work with the same writers / different producers like Priscilla, which can make for a nice balance between consistency / diversity. She doesn't have tons of tracks I LOVE but decent albums and just an awesome voice.

Sam Smith credits are up on wiki, kind of what I expected...minus Two Inch Punch goddammit but with 2 Malay tracks. Yeah Two Inch Punch is British. I think he used to date Neon Hitch and that's how he and Benny Blanco met lol.

Well if they got writing credit they must have done something worthwhile. I assume Back To Beautiful was originally a concept by Alan Walker, StarGate made it into a proper song and Alan Walker remixed it again.

Haha you know Jason Evigan is a massive hillbilly right? And Simon Wilcox is a Canadian Rock chick? And Sean Douglas is a white privileged lanky gay nerd? Visually and vocally they're miles away from R&B haha, it's so random.

How much did you like Glory? I really liked Make Me but it was kind of hit / miss to me. I can pretend that Private Show doesn't exist but even then, there were a bunch of tracks I didn't like much. Didn't love all of the Julia & Justin tracks etc...it could've been better IMO. But then again I suppose that's all her albums.

Ugh I'm gonna wait till its out to look at them so I don't get too excited like I did with the Stargate and Timbaland tracks.. Hope Malay is at least going full neo soul and no pianos..

I'm not sure I just think Alan Walker was a bigger name for the single cover at the time [he was MASSIVE here dnno about america] and whoever was organising it all just wasn't aware which was the original. It definitely sounds like it was written to that StarGate beat or a version of. There's is far superior, I really like that song as cheesy as it is, anything by Julia/Justin where they're leaning towards more R&B I prefer. [obviously I would, but I think they shine more on these as songwriters/arrangers as well that's why I thank god the Gwen album was so R&B]

Which leads me to the Britney album. YES I adored it, they captured her career-spanning combo of pop with HEAVY influences of R&B the last album I loved by her that much as a whole was ITZ as that had a lot the most R&B influences coming through too. [Britney has always been into her R&B I've watched loads of interviews with her and she's definitely in control of what sounds she likes as much as people slate her]

Liked pretty much every track on it [favourites: Liar, Love Me Down, Mood Ring, Slumber Party, Invitation, Better, Make Me; yeah sorry about it haha] and the Tinashe addition on Slumber Party was just genius, it even sounded like it could have been co-written by her. [even the original I mean]

Yeah I've googled them all already because I was adding pictures to my spotify playlists for them haha Mitch Allan was the other one I meant to add. Him and Jason are pretty hot and are in several bands and stuff I think? But that's why I love these lot even more they've obviously got that expert musical foundation that they can just apply to any genre and succeed all the best producers/writers are normally like that. Ester is another great example.

Even Andrew Goldstein on that Britney Love Me Down beat, I was like wow this is dark and knocks, how did he do this!!!

Yeah obviously Julia & Justin wrote to the StarGate one. But Alan Walker and his team are credited on the StarGate version as well, there's no 'just StarGate' version of it. It was only after it came out that it was decided that the Alan Walker one would become the main version. So I reckon the original sounded somewhat like the Alan Walker version, StarGate completely re-worked it, Julia & Justin wrote a track to it and then it went back to Alan Walker again.

Back To Beautiful is pretty cheesy yeah but I liked the production and the song itself was a nice surprise, it was just suddenly there, no idea she even worked with them etc. Between Scared Of Happy & Blow You Up, to me I don't think they can do much better in that Tropical House / Urban style, really hope we get some more StarGate & BloodPop. It boggles the mind that AlunaGeorge put Hold Your Head High [which was decent but still] on the album but not Blow You Up, dafuq.

I dunno I don't really like Slumber Party that much TBH. I loved Just Luv Me as well though, that's the kind of beat I'd exect from Cashmere Cat & StarGate. Those Young Fyre tracks are just unforgivable, what the hell were they thinking?

Yeah Jason Evigan had a band called After Midnight Project. Mitch Allan was in several bands I think yeah but they both had this sort of pop punky slightly emo thing going on as artists which I really, really hate. Also not what you'd expect from Jason Evigan either when you hear him talk haha

I think Love Me Down might be a 5H spitback though?

Damn another StarGate track, we're getting new official releases like every week / 2 weeks now. I wonder if they'll release another single considering how poorly Waterfall did in the US :/ I only know her from that Chainsmokers track I think? No idea who Taya is though? Ugh I despise those fuckers so much, what a bunch of fucking douchebags. I sincerely hope they get AIDS or leukemia or both ugh. They must be the illegitimate offspring of Diplo and Azealia Banks or something.

Will have a look if there are any more Paloma Faith titles registered. Warrior is Sia / Sam Dixon though, the demo leaked ages ago [as Black & Blue] and there's a vid of her recording it with Sam. She has some great unreleased collabos unfortunately. I kind of assume her StarGate stuff was with Sia as well.

AHh I see okay well I never got actual credits, did it have other Alan Walker people on it too? I thought they were just pushing that one because he was so big. On Spotify its even more confusing because on the Stargate 'remix' they've got cover art with Alan Walker's logo saying 'AW Remix' The lyrics are cheesy AF defo but the arrangements and vibe of the track take away from the some of the shit lyrics totally, it just sounds so tight. She sounds like a pro too [probably good vocal producers] considering she's just out of Disney..

But yeah I love that tropical bloodpop sound they've been doing [I assumed this was with Bloodpop at first but not right? Sad ] Same with the Zara track, I assumed it was him on it too. I know they've done flirting with Carribean before with What's My Name but this is like a different new island sound and I love it. Its a good look for them too as EVERYONE is ripping off BloodPop right now, poor thing.

Haha my boyfriend detests the Fyre tracks but I love them. I love the way they asked Britney to sing like she used to starting with Perfume then she went full throttle with these and had fun with the vocals. Plus, I love Private Show because the beat is a total rip off of Beanz tradeamark vocals and she knows it haha Yeah Just Luv Me is jsut what I wanted from Cashmere, if we only get one collabo on an album that should be the sound [this should have been the style of beat for Camila Crying]

So you don't like them or do? I don't know about their own stuff as I wouldn't want to ruin my image of them but everything they're doing on placements at the moment is tight AF and teh R&B sensibilities are really impressive. {I think a lot of pop music has R&B sensibilities that aren't tributed that's why I'm so impressed with Demi actually speaking on it}

Not sure if LMD is 5h or not you're probably right but Britney brought her own as always. I don't think it would have been impressive by them but still that beat is so hot and not in a million years what I thought Goldstein could do, the way it warps on the second half of the hook is so sexual.

I know I guess Tim & Danny or Rocnation are finally actually making an effort, they even got a twitter finally haha

Taya is a British girl not worked with anyone massive but she's really talented and her vocals are crisp AF. She did a cover of 'Never Gonna Let U Go' by Tina Moore [dont know if it was big over there but there was a garage remix in early 00s that was massive here] but she totally reworked it with Zac Samuel, Julian Bunetta, Tom Aspaul, Moon Willis and Ruth Anne Cunningham and it sounds great. Her EP is decent too.

Yeah they are vile, and they dissed GaGa which is just a no no when you have the same song over and over again and have the audacity to use Jhene Aiko on your shitty album...

Well looks like Paloma is getting this David Arnold [I only know of a British TV/film composer which would make sense with her as she's very theatre] to produce some of the stuff but can't see why they would be allowed to remove Sam Dixon anyway? They;re only off wiki anyway so will be edited/improved.

I'm so happy with Ella Henderson getting a placement as well, she's written like 200 songs for this album so I will be needing some leaks or artist placements even if we get a 20 track seconf album. I have a feeling she's written some for Louisa Johnson too as some of the tracks were registered same time as hers with same people. [I know they're both with Syco but still] Can't believe we've still not heard the Jax Jones/Selena Gomez song she wrote with Maegan Cottone as well he's had three singles since the credits came out WTF

Yeah the regular version has his whole team on it, he has a bunch of people that co-write/co-produce basically all his songs. That remix is probably the richest sounding track by him I've heard BTW, it's so weird that 3/4 people can make such minimal [pop] tracks.

Well loosely speaking they've been doing Carribean stuff for ages, since first working with Rihanna at least of course but even before that they worked with Beenie Man and had cheesy reggae infused pop. I doubt BloodPop minds being ripped off like that, I doubt that's something that keeps him occupied. I read an interiew with him once where he very casually mentioned how working with Skrillex on Sorry came so easy cause he was also kind of doing a similar sound. Yeah dude that's cause Skrillex worked tons with Diplo before that and Diplo is basically a cover artist Rolling Eyes it's like he literally didn't realize how bad Where Are Ü Now ripped him off.

Those Young Fyre tracks are fucking hideous, cheesiest shit ever. That whole burleque-y sound, yuck. They sounded like weird ass songs she did in the mid 00s, they were horrible to begin with and didn't suit the album at all either. Bizarre.

I don't know Mitch Allan's artist stuff but I just hate that whole sound. I hate punky stuff altogether. I do have Jason's stuff, IIRC I thought it sounded like a mix between Fall Out Boy and Muse.

Yeah they have a site as well but unfortunately it doesn't list the entire roster Sad http://www.timanddanny.com/artists there are / have been TONS of people published by Stellar though,

Hm will check her out if I remember to

Yeah so weird too to have Jhené on a Dua Lipa track :/ they also act like they invented that whole sort of style, saying people are ripping them off all the time when they have 0 originality and all their songs are co-produced by someone else. Ugh I fucking hate them so much...I wish the world would just stop giving them any attention whatsoever, erase their hits from history and have them fade into nothingness and become methheads. Before they get AIDS and leukemia.

Yeah that's probably just based off the knowledge that Sia wrote it and he produced it. I'm pretty sure that's Sam Dixon present at the sesh? : https://youtu.be/vVNjQimGUnM?t=18s

The collabos on her first album were kind of lacklustre, hope she has a better line-up for her second album. She did have a Larry Gold track though to Syco's credit Razz

Haha that's exactly why I like them though, they're clearly tributing that cheap Blackout era R&B [esp Hot As Ice] that's my appeal with them anyway.

Yeah I did love how random that was, I love Dua though she's got so much potential, my sister went to see her tonight she's massive here and also she's beautiful AF which I always like in my female artists.. But yeah don't worry they will fade away soon for some reason they think a number 1 means you're timeless and can diss everyone, they're like rich stuck up LA boys with rich daddies hate that whole scene..

I thought the credits for her first album were decent it was the songs that were lacklustre guess she's still finding her feet but there was definite potential there. The only exciting one was Babyface couldn't believe it when I saw that, he's so rare these days anyway and with her it was even more random. She's written/produced with loads of interesting people for this one she's registered like 200 songs so I'm hoping there's loads of variety/creativity this time. Louisa has so much potential too, Best Behaviour was epic and her voice/swagger is gorgeous but I think Simon will drop her if she doesn't hit top 5 with the next one he's ruthless... Sad

They're atrocious...

Yeah she's pretty big here too, at least Be The One & Hotter Than Hell were and I think New Rules is doing pretty good too. Would love to see her working with bigger names.

Hm well a little of both, there weren't that many interesting names on it as far as I can remember nor very memorable songs. I couldn't sing an Ella Henderson if my life was at stake. I saw some X-Factor auditions from this year and Simon Cowell seemed to have gotten so soft though. Of course that doesn't mean it's the same on the business front but still.

That Daya track is Daya, Jamie Hartman, Leland, StarGate & Sir Nolan BTW. Not out yet but she put an instrumental teaser up, sounds good.

Oh and Agnez Mo's album X came out yesterday...she has some deal with Tim and had a single produced by him, the next Makeba / Jim Beanz but her album is supposedly all Danja. He definitely did her new single Long As I Get Paid and definitely most of the other tracks but I can't find any credits yet so I don't know if it's all of them. It's available on Spotify etc...the last track will be familiar.

Yeh Simon has gone really soft on the show but he still drops a bitch as soon as they’re not charting. All of Leonas last singles were about him haha

OMG awesome just had a quick listen and sounds amazing Love Asian chicks doing R&B. Coke Bottle was under epic but looks like this is indie but she owns all the tracks (writing credit?) I guess

What’s the last track don’t recognise the beat? I saw Beautiful Mistake and got excited hah

Check out my esmee post and let me know any extras Smile

Well James Newman just posted about the Daya track that’s why I added him confusing haha

LMAO really? I've hardly listened to her last album

Looks like Danja def produced all of it but still no proper credits :/ hope it won't take forever. Well I've seen different tracklists but the track I meant was Get What You Give. It has the same melody as Idiot Believer. I've wondered if that was originally a Leona beat since she was going for that soft 80s sound a bit on her 1st album with Whatever It Takes and Fernando Garibay [Breaking Into Pieces slightly but I think the basic concept of Michael Jackson's / will.i.am's One More Chance was also originally for Leona]. And this [the Agnez Mo one] actually sounds quite a bit like a Leona track so maybe it's actually the original / a rework of that. Guess we'll have to wait for credits.

I will but like I said it's not like I have neatly organized lists of every album etc

Yeah I was saying James Newman also wrote it

It was pretty awful but she always has potentail as a writer and obviously her vocals are FLAWLESS. I only liked about 4 tracks but also 3 of the remixes were way better than originals anyway. I will always love her for the vocals and some of the classics [big label collabos anyway] she's done.

Oh aweosme keep me posted then, bet there's some really cool ones on there. But Leona did have that [decent but not my fave] Danja/Beanz track 'Mr Magic Man'? I would much prefer that 80s DAnja sound than Mr Magic Man 60s funk sound, it was pretty underwhelming.. Still wonder who produced Perfect Stranger too, one of my AT fave LeLe tracks.

Well thats fine I just inboxed you about an idea for that Wink

He liked my tweet Smile He's pretty hot I thought he was John Newman's brother, they're friends but ones from Yorkshire like me [John] and one from down south London.

It wasn't as Christmassy as I feared but it wasn't very exciting either. Wish we'd get something like Glasshheart again though, it was a lot edgier and uptempo than her 1st 2 albums.

Yeah we have that Danja track, never liked that much though. Do you think she wrote it herself? I know Beanz worked on it and he's a writer but he doesn't often write other producers' songs all by himself. But chances are they did a couple of tracks and probably something more among the lines of other tracks she did.

Well Perfect Stranger is rumored to be produced by Ryan Tedder, think it said so somewhere on a site before it leaked. But I don't know how bonafide that was. It might just be a pretty poppy B&A track though. I'm pretty sure she worked with them on Echo even though it was never confirmed. Claude wrote it though so maybe you could ask him

Christmassy? You don't mean the christmas album? That one was still with Simon this last one 'I AM' was new label and all Toby Gad [he is so hit and miss and differnet sounds its crazy]

I doubt she was allowed in a session that big, I always thought Claude for that as well but who knows.

Oh no way I will try to contact him on twitter, didn't know that was confirmed. The production is great and I hope it is Tedder for that reason as his other stuff was boring for her and I kniw he can produce better [and more R&B] but Bloodshy&A would be even better obviouslu Smile

No I wasn't confused...I just mean that Leona has a lot of ballads that I consider Christmassy. The kind of non-offensive songs that elderly women can enjoy.

Hm could be Claude I guess but I never got that impression, I usually recognize his songs pretty quickly but maybe cause it's kinda different, will have to check it out again.

Yeah I think he tweeted about it or something once but it sounds a shitload like him too. There's Perfect Stranger, Danger Made Me and Piece Of Your Heart [Heartbeat] that sound like weird B&A tracks. I've seen the Ina Wroldsen / Bloodshy, Avant & Mango song Heartbeat registered as a Leona track but it's likely that's a screw up with the other Heartbeat Ina did for her. B&A's Heartbeat is supposedly a Sky Ferreira track but pretty much all tracks by Ina and Nicole Morier with B&A supposedly are so I don't know if Sky Ferreira fans just jumped to conclusions on that.

I replied or did I miss a message? I also cleared my in and sent boxes earlier

Yeah its just how camp and poppy it is that made me think Claude and then Beanz I guess did vocal production which in his case is basically a writing credit because he adds so much.

Speaking of Danja's 80s sound OMG I've never heard gim as 80s as this Agnez Mo Beautiful Mistake! Its totally new wave/R&B inspired love it!

The whole album is epic. Hope one of these is Candice, my shout is Damn I Love You.
