Only gave this a quick listen...it was alright, sort of solid I don't really remember anything standing out, the Ester Dean track didn't do much for me and that was all I had to look out for credit-wise.

Can't believe they went from 5 StarGate tracks to 0...was hopinh for a StarGate / Digital Farm Animals track.

I like half of it: Deliver is on FIRE [Electrik Red teas]
Sauced Up - Harmony is always on point love that Stargate rip off and Make U Mad - Dreamlab doing an amazing Bloodpop impression with ghetto elements SO GOOD. The Ester track is decent but she can do much better, like her influence on it though.

The rest is pretty blah, Camila is coming way stronger. I hope they get another album though as they are always interesting nevertheless and Lauren's voice GORGEOUS

I know, I can't believe they didn't get with DFA since Simon is their manager, surprised he got Electric on there too [signed to Syco on production]

Meh not a fan of Sauced Up...I can't believe that old DJ Mustard sound is still going on so strong...it makes songs saund so same-ish very quickly to me. I hate that pretty much all StarGate / Cashmere Cat tracks we got sounded like that - some of them were decent but...eh. Both StarGate and Cashmere Cat are best at combining strong melodies with heavy beats, it seems like such a waste of talent to me. There's not 1 confirmed track they did together that I REALLY like, suppose All Hands On Deck is my fav and that had to grow on me. I still prefer Feels Like Vegas over that.

Yeah if it weren't for Lauren there wouldn't be anything interesting going on vocally.

Ah I didn't know Electric were signed to Syco, makes sense. I just figured Simon Cowell thought working with Electric & TMS costs a lot less instead of having his artists fly to the US. They've done decent stuff, I remember liking some of their earlier stuff before they really became a stable in UK Pop/R&B music.

Haha I love it I'm a sucker for that whole sound its so cheap but so good. Thankfully I loved a few of the SG Cashmere ones but I would have liked to hear more. I have a feeling we didn't get all the best.

Yeah as far as I know they are, he has loads of people signed to him I just don't think it shows up in their publishing credits and stuff but he definitely has a lot of associates like Chelcee Grimes, Camille etc I love his whole label now he's really brought into the 21st Century and is doing it successfully unlike RocNation [such a waste of talent there]

Yeah I've liked everything they've done up to now they change it up all the time. Sweden's finest as usual. Max Martin's stable is fucking epic at the moment everything he touches with them is gold [well he always has] There's 100s of Electric songs on BMI under their name as the artist [don't think they're doing an album or anything just how they're registered] if you go on my spotify profile i've added them all there. I'm guessing it was a massive writing camp.

Luckily his album had a bit more melody but it wasn't as heavy on the melodies like his past 'solo' work [solo cause I think all of it was with Lido]. Was very happy with Plz Don't Go [had been registered for ages, he played it live but when his 'album' leaked I lost hope it would be released] and mostly Quit - that song is amazing even if I'm not a big fan of Ariana's vocals.

Yeah I've seen lots of their stuff registered with them as the artist. If they were all registered at the same time it's likely that they switched publishers and their catalogue was acquired by that publisher [Syco?] so tons of tracks that weren't registered before got registered. That happened when Murlyn dissolved and their catalogue was sold and how I got so many of those clips. Lots of those tracks were years old but never registered.

I loved his album yeah, can't believe we got Jhene Aiko singing a CATHY DENNIS song awesome!! Quit was gorgeous, and the Selena, Camila, Kehlani and Kacy Hill tracks were amazing too.

Ahh I see very likely they signed with Simon then. That was so awesome that they used to post the clips I've still got all the ones you sent, I'd rather have a clip than nothing especially with Bloodshy & Avant and The Clutch tracks Smile

Did you hear the Galantis album by the way? Absolutely love all the Cathy Dennis, Dragonette, Nicole tracks and album in general but why is Bloodshy's production so commercial and basic? I'm hoping it sells records at least I just wish I could hear some of that old Boz O Lo sound Sad

Galantis' first album? You realize their next album should drop sometime soon right? I honestly never got into Galantis that much, the switch was huge from their first few tracks. I did sort of like it, of course but Bloodshy's recent stuff isn't as interesting to me as it used to be. Sparks was so underwhelming for a Tove Lo / Bloodshy track...apparently he's done a bunch of big pop stuff again though so hopefully some of that will see the light of day.

Really wonder what his version of Bang My Head / Light Headed sounds like...

Yeah I'm still looking forward to it I just know he can do better its so generic but I think its selling and we got to hear Cathy Dennis sing again so I'm down! I LOVED Sparks the production wasn't epic but the whole thing was on point even the video.
